Based in the heart of the Lake District, National Park Chris is able to combine his passion for art with a keen interest in history to produce every one of our outstanding sculptures.
Chris was born in Glasgow, Scotland and originally trained as a stone mason where his artistic ability became apparent. In his twenties he emigrated to Canada, later living in New York. Upon returning to the UK, Chris lived in London before choosing to settle in the Lake District and it was here that Chris was able to develop the skills he learnt as a stone-mason to become self-taught in clay sculpting.
Chris is now an exceptionally talented sculptor and designer with a passion for detail and creating beautiful, breath-taking sculptures.
In 2013, Chris was honoured to be selected as an Associate of the Royal British Society of Sculptors.
